Of all the questions I get…You might be surprised what topic comes up more often than any other! HOW TO TRAIN WITH INJURIES/PAIN?
It’s likely because I’m a physical therapist for professional athletes AND…People trust that I’ll be able to best comment on the topic. After many requests…Here’s my stance.
Elbow pain when doing triceps. Shoulder pain when doing pushups or bench press. Knee pain with squats or lunges. Forearm pain with pullups.
They’re all too common…and handling them the wrong way could be way worse than you might have thought! The Cycle of Pain and Why it is Much Worse Than You Thought!
Seems more than ever…Guys are training in way more pain than they should be. Has a lot to do with HOW they’re training. Also…Lots to do with what they’re NOT doing for recovery.
If you want a step by step, progressive workout plan backed by real sports science…I’d love to have the chance to coach you for the next 90 days. Click here to join team athlean
Meantime…If you’ve ever trained in pain (who hasn’t?) I think you’re going to find this video to be helpful and a bit eye opening.
Have a great rest of your weekend!
STAY STRONG…
JEFF
P.S. If you feel that you’ve exhausted every avenue to limit the results-crushing pain you’re training with, I’d highly suggest you check out the ATHLEAN-Rx MECHAN-X joint recovery product I just finished formulating for my top pro athlete clients. In pro sports there is no room for compromised performance…so I didn’t compromise on the formula.
